Dr. William Cesare is founder of Industrial Health Strategies, a Providence RI consulting firm specializing in life science/medical business development and venture funding. With over 22 years experience, Dr. Cesare has been a principle in multiple start-up companies in Rhode Island and New England focusing on clinical rehabilitation, pharmaceutical marketing, medical staffing, claims management, medical devices, and the senior living market to name a few. Dr. Cesare was the co-founder of ACES Technologies, a pioneering internet-based medical claims management firm which was acquired by Bridium, Inc in 2001. Dr. Cesare is an active member of Angel Healthcare Investors, LLC of Boston, one of the largest Life Science focused Angel groups in the US.
Dr. Cesare received his BS from Boston College and both an MS and Ph.D. from Boston University in the areas of Clinical Human Physiology. He also received post-doctoral training in industrial engineering from the University of Michigan and Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Cesare has served as the Ergonomics consultant to the State of Rhode Island, Division of Worker's Compensation since 1987. Dr. Cesare is a clinical adjunct professor at both Boston University Medical School and Roger Williams University in Rhode Island and is Board Certified by the National Board of Ergonomics. Since 1986, he and his company have serviced over 900 clients including private industry, state and federal government agencies, national union organizations and the insurance industry. Dr. Cesare resides in Lincoln, RI.
